The Governor of Penang, Tun Ramli Ngah Talib, said that ASEAN and the European Union (EU) have many areas in regional cooperation from which both sides can learn from each other, including regional economic integration, cross-border cooperation mechanisms, trade facilitation, and future financial cooperation models, all of which serve as important directions for further discussion and exploration.
